Hyazinth macaw in a tree

Photo of the great hyazinth macaw, Pantanal, Brazil.
Its cobalt-blue colour guarantees its beauty but is also its worst ennemy as the hyazinth macaw is now endangered after years of illegal hunt.
I considered myself lucky when I spotted this macaw in a nearby tree. As I got closer I realised the bird was not frightened so I took my time to observe it and then take a few pictures.
