Cameras

Since 2006 I've been using a Canon EOS5D digital camera with the following optics:

• EF70-200mm f/4L IS
• EF24-105mm f/4L IS
• EF17-35mm f/2.8L

I carry it all in a photo rucksack which is quite heavy, but the main pro is that I have everything I nedd accessible at any time.
Before 2006 I used Canon EOS-50E camera (non digital).
Between 2006 and 2014,I used Canon EOS-5D digital camera.
Since 2014, I've been using Canon EOS-6D digital camera.

I also use a smaller digital camera that I can put in a pocket: Sony Cybershot HX20V.
Before this one, I had a Canon Ixus 850 IS.

Accessories

• Polarising filter that I use for landscapes photos when the sun is low
• Neutral filter that I use to protect my lenses
• Trépied
• Rice bag, very useful to anihilate the vibrations (of an engine for example while in photo safari).

Video equipment

I do not shoot videos but my husband does. He used to shoot with a Canon MVX2I which died after its trip to Antarctica... we wonder why! Since then he's been using a Sony HDR700VE and a GoPro.
