Hawaii travelogue day 1 Paris to Honolulu

Hawaii, here we come!

We left Paris at 9am bound for Atlanta and Honolulu. We landed at Honolulu airport around 8pm local time (8am in France) after more than 20 hours in airplanes or airports. We then picked up our rental car and drove to Waikiki and its numerous hotels (ours is located between Waikiki beach and Kuhio beach), leaving Honolulu and its buildings on the left.

In spite of the jetlag and the associated tirediness we couldn't resist to "meet" Waikiki, and went for a walk on the beach.
