While Tulum is probably the most beautiful mayan ancient city, Chichen itza is the one that struck me the most. By its great stretch but also by its massive structures among which the pyramid. At the time I visited Chichen itza it was possible to climb up the uneven stairs to the top. It was quite an adventure but was worth it for the view up there.
Not sure that nowadays it is still possible, in order to preserve this priceless reminder of the past.
