Front row to spot a diving whale

Whale spotted close to a kayak
22/44

We spent forty five minutes watching two humpback whales feeding on krill in cristal clear antarctic water of Neko harbour. One of them came very close to my kayak and dove 5 meters from me. You can tell from the photo of the whale how close it was from my kayak! Then the whale swam underneath the kayak and kept on feeding on krill, not even disturbed by my frail kayak.
I was so close to the whale I could hear its breath and smell her. The feeling was amazing. The humpback dove so smoothly that I had no trouble keeping my kayak in good position.
