Diving humpback whale in Antarctic landscape

Humpback whales come to Antarctica from december to march to feed on krill in preparation for the long migration which shall lead them to warmer waters where they will reproduce. They can eat up to 1 ton of krill per day! Taking a photo of a whale is quite frustrating as it's often the back of the mammal that you see... In many ways whales remain a mysterious mammal. No one really knows how they find their way or why sometimes a few of them beach and die!
