Iceberg in Antarctica
Antarctica cruise and kayak

Travelogue of the Antarctic expedition

Antarctica travelogue

My first encounter with polar landscapes has been the Arctic region, in Spitsbergen where I camped eleven days near a calving glacier. Everyday I either hiked in the toundra or kayaked among the various icebergs. I very much enjoyed this trip to Arctic and promised myself that one day I would kayak on the other side of the world, ie Antarctica.
A few years later that dream came true. I boarded a ship bound for the harshness of Antarctica, and cherry on top, I had the possibility to kayak there!
