Photo of a landscape of Spitsbergen
Arctic light and floating moraine

Photo of drifting moraine observed during the trip to Spitsbergen, polar land of the Arctic.
The moraine is a relief formed by an accumulation of glacial sediments.
Coming back from a hike, as we approached our camp, the light changed giving these amazing colors.
What floats in the water to the left is a piece of moraine stuck in ice. We were able to observe several seals fishing around this iceberg.
