Kayaking among the icebergs

Photo of an iceberg drifting in front of our kayak during the trip to Spitsbergen.
During our kayaking trips, we were fascinated by these impressive but dangerous icebergs. You should know that the emerged part represents only a third of the size of the "ice cube" and when the balance is reversed following the slow melting, the iceberg turns upside down ... and it is better not to be too close when it happens !!
The emerged part of it measured about 6 meters high for a width of a dozen meters.
