Kayaking is a great way to navigate the Arctic

Photo of the sea kayak which allowed us to make magnificent tours among the icebergs during the polar raid in Spitsbergen, polar land.
In addition to the traditional floating vests, we were equipped with wetsuits, hats and neoprene gloves in order to protect us from the cold... between the temperature of the water (2°C) and that of the air which dropped as soon as we approached the glacier, it was not luxury! Kayaking is probably the best way to discover these bewitching landscapes and the clicking sound generated when it spins through hundreds of small icicles is magical.
It also allows you to slip quietly to discover the fauna, many There is no shortage of birds, seals and of course polar bears... as for taking pictures of these animals on a kayak, that's another story !!!
