White house in the desert

It seems unbelievable that when I took this photo, the Nile river was just 3 meters behind me... Yet, the implacable desert stands just in front of that house which resists but for how long? I specially liked the contrast between the white colour of the house versus the deep blue sky and the apricot orange of the desert sand.
