Photo of a cormoran in Blyde river, South Africa. This is the ideal spot for a cormoran on the lookout: quietly perched on a tree branch overlooking the river. When a prey is spotted, cormorans descend swiftly and litterraly dive in the water. After the fish is eaten, the main activity is digest while enjoying the sun, spreading wings to dry their feathers.
