Photo of an anhinga

The anhinga is nicknamed the African arrow

The anhinga, which I had already had the opportunity to photograph during a photo safari in Botswana, is also called the African darter (African arrow) because when it dives into the water to grab a prey, it folds its wings and lengthens its legs. His body then penetrates perfectly into the air and then into the water like an arrow.
