A little bit like for the spoonbill in the swamp, this jabiru stork with its unmistakable bright orange beak and black feathers stands out well against the green herbs it is walking through.
Can you believe the size of the beak? I wouldn't like to be a frog when the jabiru stork catch it! It was the first time I came across a jabiru stork, here in Botswana. Years later, during a trip to Brazil I was happy to spot jabiru stork in Pantanal area, a perfect spot for migratory birds like the stork.
