Steenbok in high herbs

I spotted this steenbok while driving north on the transkalahari highway in Botswana and managed to get close enough to take this photo.
But the steenbok, as all wild animals, is easily scared. My next move towards it made it run away. The steenbok is a little antelope with long ears. Stennbok means brick in Africaan, probably because of the colour of its skin.
We were lucky to spot a steenbok so early in our trip because after that we never spotted one ever again. This steenbok was the luck of the beginner.
