Unlike other birds, roller don't hop, they only fly. Rollers like to perch on branches, looking for insects or lezards to feed on.
Did you notice the beautiful colours of this bird? It's like it is featuring a rainbow.
The roller is the national symbol of Botswana. This photo of a roller is a bit blurry but at the time I didn't have my stabilised 200mm.
