Photo of two standing zebras

Zebras under hot namibian sun

Zebras in yellow dry grass

This photo speaks for itself. We clearly see that the two zebras are standing as still as possible in this wide stretch of grass turned yellow by the dryness.
Zebras, like any other animals, need to control their body temperature. The more they move, the hotter they get. So in these very hot conditions, standing still is the best option. Although, if it were for me, I'd have gone under a tree to take advantage of the shadow... Clearly zebras don't think like me! The black and white stripes of the zebras turn them into cute animals that I never got bored to spot and to observe.
The most incredible moment being when one zebra kicked another zebra dead and the carcasse was cleaned by coyotes and vultures until nothing was left from the zebra except the bones and the skin.
