The arc de triomphe of Louvre carrousel was build between 1807 and 1809 as a tribute to Napoleon Bonaparte's army to celebrate the Austerlitz victory. The photo was taken from the cour du Louvre and I did my best so that the millenium wheel located at place de la Concorde remained visible between the arches.
