The fastest predator on earth

We were enjoying a photos safari in Etosha game reserve where this resting cheetah seemed barely disturbed by our presence.
Quick facts about the cheetah: it is an athletic feline, lonely and the fastest of the bush. Cheetah can run as fast as 110km/h for a few seconds.
But as you can see on the photo, we didn't have to sprint to follow this specimen as the cheetah was quietly laying down on the dry bush of Etosha. Thus this was a great opportunity for me to take a photo of a cheetah while staying inside our 4x4.
That being said, I would have liked to see a cheetah hunting for preys. It is quite a show when I watch it on television so I guess that witnessing this event for real, in the wild, must be awsome.
Maybe I'll be luckier on my next photo safari and have the opportunity to see how fast a cheetah can run.
