Photo of Santa Maria della Salute in Venice. It was at the end of the afternoon of the first day of our romantic weekend that I photographed this panorama of Venice under this warm light.
Although it is a "minor" basilica, Santa Maria della Salute is one of the most admired in Venice thanks to its advantageous location. You cannot miss it when you leave San Marco's Square towards the Grand Canal. In honeymoon tripor for a week-end, I highly recommend a stay in Venice!
Yes, I find that the expression romantic stay in Venice has been used too much, that it is now overused but honestly, everything is there for a Venetian stay for couples to be at the top. Venice has not stolen its status as a romantic city and quite naturally appears among the best destinations for a romantic weekend.
