You want to visit Venice in short stay or in romantic weekend but you don't know when to go? I give you some answers: The main tourist season in Venice, as in all of southern Europe, is from April to November. This is where the climate is the most favorable ... but it is also where there are the most tourists and where the prices are the highest.
Visiting Venice in low season is not only possible but it can be a good plan: I stayed there on a weekend in December, the sun was shining and it was not crowded.
Of course, February is also a popular month to visit in because of the carnival of Venice, one of the most famous in the world.
In short, you will understand, there really aren't any ideal answers to the question when to visit Venice!
