The gondola, the ultimate symbol of Venice

Before this trip to Venice I knew of course the gondolas, one of the symbols of the city of the Doges. But what I didn't know is that there are countless numbers of different gondolas. Different by their design, their decorations or their finishes. So I really enjoyed photographing the most typical elements of the gondolas that I came across during my stay in Venice.
