Nepali wildlife includes yaks
At 3300 meters, on this high plateau, a yak was peacefully grazing. We came across quite a lot of yaks during this trekking which is not surprising as these animals are well adapted to high altitude. Nepali people take advantage of the yaks for many reasons: they drink the milk, they eat its meat and they use the long hair of the yak to manufacture blankets or clothes.
