Rocks and heat in Damaraland

Damaraland region is generally flat and dry except for some rocky formations here and there. We decided to make a little hike in spite of the heat and were thrilled when we came across a family of monkeys enjoying the shadow provided by the rocks. Although very dry, Damaraland is home for monkeys but also elephants and other wildlife.
