Photo of a Damaraland landscape
Dusty trail and cactus
Rocks and cactuses are the only points of interest in the harsh Damaraland region of Namibia. Occasionaly you can come across the secular welwitschia mirabilis but for a layperson like me it can be taken as a cactus. The photo shows how flat and dry Damaraland can be, with the dusty trail dividing the landscape.
