The condo we stayed at in Kailua-Kona was only 400m from downtown and had a lovely beach where black lava rocks rub elbows with white sand, coconut trees and the Pacific ocean. And when the sun set, the sky crimpsoned giving the scenery a special ambience.
The western coast of Big island is famous for beautiful sunsets.
