Holidays in Canada
Photos of our stay in western Canada, from Vancouver to the rocky mountains - wildlife and landscapes photos.
Canada is a wide country making it almost impossible to visit entirely in one time. For this first stay, we chose the western part.
We discovered Vancouver city and gorgeous landscapes from pacific coast to the rockies: lovely lakes like emerald lake or moraine lake, impressive mountain chains and even a glacier !
This part of Canada has a great diversity of wildlife: bear, wapitis, sea lions and whales.

Pacific beaches, lakes, waterfalls, mountains and glacier, western Canada landscapes are diversified and gorgeous.
Wildlife in western Canada is rich and it is not necessary to be hiding out to watch animals.
Our flight landed at Seattle (USA) where we picked-up the rental car and drove towards Canada and more precisely Vancouver.
The daily itinerary is described in this page but to give you an overview, we followed a circuit, from Vancouver to the rocky mountains and back via the west coast and Penticton valley. Then we spent a few days on Vancouver island where we enjoyed spotting wild bears.
