Penguins or auks?

Can you tell the difference between a penguin and an auk?
You might wonder why I'm asking you this question, but in fact many people tend to get confused with penguins.
Here is a hint: one of the two species can't fly...
So is it penguins that can't fly or auks?
Another hint: one species live in the southern hemisphere while the other in the northern hemisphere.
Therefore you now understand that penguins and auks are two totally different species though they both look alike. The answer is that penguins can't fly and live in the southern hemisphere. Several species of penguins can be spotted in Antarctica. But they can also be seen off the coast of Namibia like the penguins in the picture.
