As our Antarctic icebreaker was sailing northbound to South Shetland islands we were lucky to witness this beautiful Antarctic sunset shedding beautiful warm colours on the surrounding snowy hills turning from white to yellow-orange then purple. This photo of sunset in Antarctica was highlighted as we spotted five to six whales heading southbound to Antarctica for feeding purposes. The sensation was speechless!
