Sherpa traditional houses

This Sherpa village was located in a mountaineous region not far from Kathmandu. The traditional houses were made of materials that Sherpa people could find in the mountains: wood, slates and cob. The villages we crossed were always the occasion to meet people and discuss a little, our guide being a perfect interpreter.
This one is a typical Sherpa village.
