Tenderness between a giraffe and its cub

How cute is this? A giraffe cuddling its cub with tenderness in the middle of Moremi game reserve bush.
It's easier to spot giraffes than squirrels for example, and you can guess why! These mammals are so tall that they can be seen hundreds of meters away.
In this photo gallery I selected three different photos of giraffes, representing three characteristics:
- A close-up of a giraffe's head and long neck. I was able to shoot this photo thanks to a peaceful giraffe standing in the middle of the trail and reluctant to move. Therefore I took my time to change my camera lens and adjust the settings for a - what I believe is - great photo
- A typical behavior when the giraffe half-kneels in an attempt to lower its head and drink water
- And finally a familly-related behavior showing the tenderness and the strong bond between a giraffe and its cub.
As for the other animals I took a huge number of photos of giraffe during my stay in Namibia and Botswana. But I had to make a strict selection so as to narrow the number down to 51 wildlife photos of austral Africa. It was a challenge though!
