Meanders of the river above Victoria Falls

Victoria Falls Fault and Zambezi Plateau
09/09

Before flowing into the fracture that creates Victoria Falls, the Zambezi is very widened and flows peacefully on a large plateau. This aerial view perfectly illustrates the ambivalence, between calm and violence: calm released by the green plateau where the river flows serenely and further, the violence betrayed by this cloud of water droplets from the crash of tons of water who fall into the fault of all dangers.
