Paris - Edinburgh |
| Our flight from Paris to Edinburgh landed by 8.30 pm. Then we took a cab to the B&B we had booked from France: Castle guest house. | |

Edinburgh - Inverness |
|
We rented a car then headed to Inverness via Deeside touristic road as far as Ballater then Highland touristic road. We stopped very often to watch the beautiful landscapes. Once in Inverness, we walked in the city and prepared the next day at the tourist office. Night in a B&B. |

Inverness - Wick |

In the morning we sailed on the Caledonian canal then on the loch Ness, then we took the car northbound to Wick. We drove along the north-east coast of Scotland and its beautiful Scottish landscapes. La ville est plutôt calme, le centre piéton est agréable. Nuit au B&B |

Wick - Ullapool |
|
In the morning we headded to John o'groats and particularly Duncansby head to see the famous stacks... simply impressive ! We were lucky enough to see several birds like puffins or guillemots. Then we drove to Ullapool along the northern coast of Scotland, amazed by breathtaking landscapes, steep cliffs, sand beaches... Once in Ullapool, we hanged around on the port and visited the small town. |

Ullapool - Glencoe |
|
On our way to Glencoe we stopped at Eilean Donan castle. Then we crossed the very touristic Fort William to finally reach the peaceful Glencoe near loch Leven. In the afternoon, we walked in the surrounding forest. |

Glencoe - Edinburgh - Paris |
| On our way back to Edinburgh we visited Callander then headed to the airport. | |
