Fish traps

Photo of fish traps that a fisherman is about to set in Sangker river.

During the dry season, the low water level enable fishermen to catch a lot of fish using fishing nets, and traps which leave few possibilities of escape to the fish. But as soon as the monsoon starts, water level gets higher and higher making it more difficult to catch fish.
