We spent forty five minutes watching two humpback whales feeding on krill in cristal clear antarctic water of Neko harbour. One of them came very close to my kayak and dove 5 meters from me.
Then the whale swam underneath the kayak and kept on feeding on krill, not even disturbed by my frail kayak.
I was so close to the whale I could hear its breath and smell her. The feeling was amazing. The humpback dove so smoothly that I had no trouble keeping my kayak in good position.
