As soon as our icebreaker professor Multanovskiy entered Neko harbour bay I was stunned by the beauty of the surrounding scenery. Narrow bay enclosed by snow-covered mountains, Neko harbour is mysterious as many low clouds get stuck on the snowy slopes and darken the landscape. Icebergs and ice cubes turn grey adding to the gloomy atmosphere strengthen by the rumbling of glaciers.
By the time the ship anchored far from a huge bluish iceberg the clouds were gone, the sun was shedding a wonderful morning light.
